Saxon Skilled Workforce Symposium

Last week, I had the pleasure of speaking at the Saxon Skilled Workforce Symposium held at the impressive KRAFTVERKEHR – Event and Congress Centre in Chemnitz, where I delivered an impulse talk on introducing the four-day work week.

I shared insights from our company’s experience – from practical questions such as “How does it actually work in everyday operations?” to “How do clients react when Fridays are quiet?”.

The subsequent roundtable discussion was open, engaging and full of valuable perspectives – a clear sign of how much interest there is in new working models today.

My takeaway: The four-day week is not just about working less. It’s about using time more effectively, rethinking workflows, and enhancing productivity while achieving a better work-life balance. The ongoing dialogue shows that we are right in the middle of a true work culture transformation.
