Purpose and Function of the Customer Billing Terminal
The Customer Billing Terminal has been specifically developed for business customers. Since standard cash register receipts are not accepted by the tax authorities, proper invoices are required for accounting purposes. This terminal is designed to generate those invoices quickly and efficiently.
To use the terminal, the customer scans their receipt and enters their details using the integrated keyboard. Within seconds, a professionally formatted invoice is printed – ready to be used for tax or reimbursement purposes.
What was the challenge or pain point that led to the introduction of this invoice self-service?
The invoice self-service saves time and therefore reduces costs – both for business customers and for our staff.
The implementation of the terminal required, among other components, an input device in the form of a keyboard. What were your requirements for the keyboard?
The keyboard is used by a large number of people, which means there is a high risk of spreading germs. The pandemic has once again highlighted how important it is to prevent this.
The stainless steel keyboard used in the terminal is resistant to cleaning agents and disinfectants, and can be cleaned quickly and easily.
Which keyboard was used for the terminal?
As the keyboard needed to be integrated into the terminal, a built-in stainless steel version was selected.
A standard model from the GETT brand InduSteel was customised to meet our specific needs and requirements.
